Brushed stainless steel surface

Quality

The steel tells the truth.

What your kitchen is made of matters for decades. Here is how to check it.

01

Steel grade and gauge

Stainless steel gauge to thickness
GaugeThickness
16g1.5 mm
18g1.2 mm
19g1.0 mm
21g0.8 mm

AISI 304 is food grade and non-corrosive. AISI 202 is non-food grade and can corrode. Once steel is polished, its grade cannot be seen without a lab test, which is why we write grade and gauge on every quote.

Buyer checklist

  1. Compare offers on detailed specifications, not price alone.

  2. Plan your kitchen with consultants, chefs or our planning team before buying.

  3. Split your BOQ into gas equipment, fabricated equipment, exhaust, imported and bought-out items.

  4. After ordering, ask for electrical load and gas burner data.

  5. Schedule delivery around site readiness; most equipment is plug and play.

  6. Make sure the site is clean before delivery.

  7. Insist on site re-measurement after placing the order.

  8. Ask for signed and stamped shop drawings.

  9. Inspect equipment before taking delivery.

  10. Agree terms upfront: payment, delivery schedule, inspection, delivery and unloading, scaffolding, warranty, installation and packaging.
